Dear Vendor,
This year, HARLEM WEEK celebrates 42 years of community, culture, music and, of course, great food! We would like to thank all of our exhibitors and vendors who have participated with us over the past years. It is our pleasure to be able to provide mutually beneficial business opportunities, events and activities to our vendors and our community. We look forward to another year of diverse vendors and invite you to join us.

In preparing for the festival. Please note the following:

All Food Vendors are selected by the HW Exhibitor Committee. To be considered, please fill out the form below. You may also submit a letter of interest to participate at HARLEM WEEK by email to HWExhibitors@Gmail.com.

Your letter should include the following:

  1. Full Detailed Menu: including Beverages, Sides, Desserts and any Vegan or Vegetarian items you may have
  2. Digital Photographs are requested with your letter of interest
  3. Photographs should be a clear and accurate presentation of the size, style and food presentation to be exhibited. You are also required to submit photographs of all cooking equipment which you will be using on the site. (Fryers, Grills, Smokers, etc)
  4. Exact Dimensions of all on-site cooking equipment
  5. Copies of your NYC Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit and FDNY Certificate of Fitness G-23
  6. A list of other festivals where you have vended

All Food Vendors are required to obtain:

  1. Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit. You can apply online at www.nyc.gov/health or offline at the DCA Licensing Center at 42 Broadway, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10004 (212) 487-4104. You may also call 311 or (212)NEW-YORK for more information
  2. *Certificate of Fitness G-23 from the Fire Department of New York. *Only Food Vendors cooking or using propane/ generators on site. You may call FDNY at (718)999-2472 or visit the website www.nyc.gov/FDNY for more information.

Please note: HARLEM WEEK, INC firmly adheres to the New York City Fire Department regulations therefore all HARLEM WEEK vendors must indicate at the time of registration their intent to use propane, charcoal, helium or a generator.

Upon approval of your application

The HARLEM WEEK Exhibitors Committee will schedule an in person appointment or conference call to complete the registration process which will include:

  1. Collection of the Food Vendor Agreement and required documents. All documents must be submitted no later that two weeks prior to the event.
  2. Payment via Certified Check, Money order or Credit Card made payable to HARLEM WEEK, Inc. All fees must be PAID IN FULL PRIOR to the event. (We will not accept personal or business checks.)
  3. NY City Sanitation Fee (non-refundable): based on total days of participation and made payable to HARLEM WEEK, Inc.
