HARLEM WEEK Black College Fair

Dear College Representative/Supporter:

The 18th annual HARLEM WEEK National Historic Black College Fair & Expo will take place during Uptown Saturday Nite, on August 16th of 2008 on West 135th street between Malcolm X and Adam C. Powell, Jr. Blvds. This year we are saluting Howard University’s, Meharry Medical School’s and Xavier University’s Medical Programs.

We are inviting you to participate by sending a representative from your school to set-up an information table, to discuss and distribute information specific to your schoolπs available programs, scholarships and financial aid requirements.

We are expecting 15,000 students, parents, alumni, recruiters and others from around the Greater New York metropolitan area, which will need information concerning college admission, scholarships, grants, college tours and financial aid information.

If you are interested in participating, we would greatly appreciate it if you would provide us with a brief statement about your college/organization, a phone number and the name of the contact person. Please fill out the information on the attached information sheet, and return to HARLEM WEEK, Inc. 200A West 136th street, New York, NY 10030 or fax (212) 862-8745 as soon as possible.

We are looking forward to your participation in our 17th annual National Historic Black College Fair & Expo. We know that your attendance will have a very positive impact on the young adults who will attend this event. Feel free to contact me, Winston Majette, Executive Director of the National Historic Black College Fair & Expo, (212) 862-8477 if you have any questions.
